Semester One reports will be published directly to you through Connect on Wednesday 27th June 2018. Connect has been implemented in our school as one of our main forms of communication. It is an integrated online environment developed by the Department of Education WA for staff, students and parents in public schools.
How will parents access Connect?
You should already have received your own secure login to Connect earlier this year or upon enrolment. Connect is totally free and because it is provided by the Department of Education, very safe. As well as being able to log in to Connect on any internet-enabled device, you may also receive notices either by email or a notification to your phone.
A free app called Connect Now can be downloaded from Google Play or the Apple App Store and this will allow you to receive Connect notices as push notifications.
Some students have a non-standard report and these documents will be emailed directly to parents.
A paper copy of Kindergarten Reports will be sent home as in previous years.
What is the benefit of an E Report?
- The ability to easily reprint and forward copies of reports.
- Parents being able to retain a digital record of student achievement.
If you have not provided the school with an up to date email address or have had issues with logging into Connect please email Leeming.PS.Office@education.wa.edu.au or see the Semester One Report Letter to Parents which has a return slip attached. This letter will be coming home with students as a hard copy tomorrow.
