School Board – Expression of Interest for Parent Representative

The Leeming Primary School Board was established in 2016 and provides advice and guidance to the school. The School Board supports the school with Strategic Planning and meets twice a term, usually on a Tuesday night, for approximately one hour. The meetings are very structured and sometimes pre-reading is required. Meetings are run to an agenda as set by the School Board Chair (Charlotte Bramanis). The existing members have done an excellent job with the school’s transition to Independent Public Schools status and the creation of our first Business Plan. Members on the Board have different tenures to ensure that there is consistency in the membership. At the end of 2017 there were changes to the School Board creating an opportunity for a new Parent Representative.

If you would like to work with the school and have a say on the direction you think the school should be heading, this is your opportunity. Please send to me a short (no more than 1 page) Expression of Interest including what you may be able to ‘bring to the board’ by 28 February 2018. These can be handed into the office or emailed to

I encourage all new families to consider this opportunity.

Thanking You
