Leeming Primary School

Leeming Primary is a local intake school. An eligible child whose place of residence is within the intake area is guaranteed enrolment in the compulsory years of primary schooling (Pre-Primary to Year 6).

Local Intake Boundaries

Children whose usual place of residence is not in the local intake area are accommodated where possible based on capacity and facilities available after making provision for local intake area needs.

Please see Priority of Access below:

1. Child residing in the local-intake area who has a sibling also enrolled at the school in the current year, and who lives nearest the school.
2. Child in the local-intake area who does not have a sibling enrolled at the school in the current year, and who lives nearest the school.
3. Child not residing in the local-intake area who has a sibling also enrolled at the school in the current year, and who lives nearest the school.
4. Child not residing in the local-intake area who does not have a sibling enrolled at the school in the current year, and who lives nearest the school.

To enrol at Leeming Primary School please complete Enrolment Application Part A and return to the school office along with copies of:

• Birth Certificate (Please note that if your child is an Australian citizen but both parents were born overseas, then proof of one of the parent’s permanent residency/citizenship or the students Australian Passport is also required at the time of application.)
• Visa or Australian Citizenship. If a child or parent is a visa holder, you will also need to provide the visa grant notice and Passport.
• Immunisation Records
• Proof of your current address (Rates notice or Rental agreement and an Electricity or Gas bill)
• Family Court orders for confirmation of proof of name or custody arrangements

Once your application has been approved by the Principal, an Enrolment Pack – Part B (Student Enrolment Form) will need to be completed and returned to the school.

Our 2026 Kindergarten Enrolments open on Monday 28 April 2025 and close on Friday 25 July 2025. Please complete the above Enrolment Application Part A and return to the office along with copies of the items requested as above.
