Dear Parents,
Welcome back to Term 2
I hope that you had a great holiday. It has been an interesting return with Covid impacting upon our lives again. We are still extremely fortunate compared to elsewhere.
We are back under slightly restricted conditions:
- Staff will be wearing masks, except when teaching
- We must maintain a contact register in case we need to report back
- We have been asked to restrict /delay/ reschedule events with other adults.
Hopefully we will be back to normal as soon as possible. We will work hard to ensure that schooling is still a positive opportunity for the students.
ANZAC Day Service
We were proud to host our Anzac Day service in the company of special guests Roy Fuller WWII Veteran, Able Seaman Damian Harwood. Our students, staff and families embraced the ceremony, which was set amongst a great display of photos of relatives who served their country. The songs performed were Green Hills of Albany and Spirit of the ANZACS. A big thank you Ms Thomson and Mrs Sutton.
School Review process
We are still working on bringing together the information for the school review. At this stage we are reviewing the draft stage of the documentation. I have sent this out to the School Board for their feedback and will be doing the same with the whole of staff shortly.
Rear driveway
Access to the school via the rear driveway needs to be restricted to delivery vehicles and accessing the disabled bay. Unfortunately, there is a tight turn around and students walking up the drive way. If you are dropping of students can you, please do so along Westminster Road.
Thanking You
Clive Emby
