At the Sports Carnival
Wednesday 18th October 2017
This year our Graduating class is holding a cake stall at the Sports Carnival, and we need all bakers! Anyone able to contribute goods please bring to the Canteen at school pick up on Tuesday 17th or before school on the morning of the carnival.
Please list ingredients on the items to inform people with allergies.
Additionally, we require parents to volunteer their time to run the cake stall on the day.
If you are able to fill a timeslot below please write your name in the Roster which will be put outside Room 1 or write your name on a Facebook post re: SportsCarnivalCanteenHelp and Tag @AngelsGilabert.
Due to illness the Canteen’s last day will be 11th September until further notice.
The Year 6 Graduating students have taken this opportunity to utilise the canteen for a fundraising sausage sizzle. The SAUSAGE SIZZLE ORDER FORM MUST be returned to the school office by Monday the 18th September to enable correct ordering of supplies. As the money will be collected by the P&C please ensure that you have the CORRECT money sealed in an envelope/plastic bag with your student’s name clearly marked.
We’ve had a great year of FUNdraising for our school, and now we’re getting ready for the BIG ONE!
That’s only 3 months away, can you believe it?
Now is the time to chat to your class rep about your special class stall, what help is needed for the stall or other ways you can help out on the day.
If you have friends or rellies who would like a Fete stall please ask them to contact Merri Ford at email@example.com for applications and information packs.
Room 6 would like books for their Second-hand book stall. Any books in good condition would be greatly appreciated. They can be placed in the box in the junior cluster wet area (outside Mrs Douglas’ classroom).
Room 5 would like small inexpensive prizes for boys and girls of various ages for their Pluck-a-duck game. Some ideas include hair ties, matchbox cars, bubble wands, notebooks, pens/textas, marbles, glow sticks, money boxes… the list can go on! Please leave them in the clear tub in the wet area next to Room 5/6/7 (just inside the main door). There will also be a box in the office to leave prizes in.
Room 7/8 need volunteers for the Sausage Sizzle.
What we’re fundraising for
We aim to raise $20,000 this year to upgrade the ICT facilities available in Kindy and PP, including purchasing portable interactive white boards (smart boards) and new iPads.
If you have an idea for fundraising, please contact the Fundraising Co-ordinator or a Class Parent Rep. As per the WACCSO guidelines ALL school fundraising must go through the P&C.
If you have any queries or want to help, please see Merri Ford, Fundraising Co-ordinator.
