Thank you to all the families who have paid their 2018 School and P&C Contributions.
Financial support by parents has always played a significant role in providing resources that extend the school’s capacity to add value to the learning experiences of students. The continuing partnership between schools and parents is vital to ensuring that all students receive a level of education sufficient to carry them forward in today’s society.
The School Voluntary contributions relate to the monies requested from parents towards the cost of materials, services and facilities used by K-6 students in the educational program.
The Leeming Primary School Board approved a voluntary contribution of $60 per student for 2018. This is only $1.50 per week and whilst this is very little individually, if everyone contributes it amounts to a sum that is very useful to our learning program.
The funds collected are used to purchase additional teacher assistant time, playground equipment, reading books, maths, science and history resources, and sport and technology equipment. These resources benefit all students and allow our school to provide the very best learning opportunities for your children.
